Delete your Thoughtz account
You can delete your account yourself, in the app, in about a minute. Here is how, and exactly what happens to your data.
How to delete it
1. Open Account
Sign in to the Thoughtz app and open Account from the menu.
2. Choose Delete Account
Tap Delete Account, then Get Code. We email a confirmation code to the address on your account. Check your spam or junk folder if it does not arrive within a few minutes.
3. Enter the code
Type the code in and tap Delete Account. It takes effect straight away and cannot be undone.
Deleted, and kept
Deleted
Your account, and your history of completed Surveys.
Kept
To stop abuse, we keep your name, email address and the IP address you deleted the account from for two years, or longer if your account was restricted.
Your answers and Surveys
Answers you have already given stay in the results of those Surveys, but they are no longer linked to you. If you created a Personal Survey, it is closed and its results are kept.
