Answers first
Do I need an account to answer a survey?
No. Scan a Code or open a link and you can answer straight away — no sign-up, no email address, nothing to install if you would rather not. Registering is free and does two things: it opens up the age and gender breakdown behind the results, and it keeps a history of what you have answered so you can go back to it.
How many questions can a survey have?
A business survey can have up to five. You run one survey at a time on the slot your account comes with, and you can buy more slots if you want several going at once. A question you post yourself from the app is a single question — one at a time, so the answers stay on it.
What does it cost?
Nothing to register and nothing to run. Your account comes with one survey slot, and the survey in it includes 5,000 responses a month and keeps going until you close it — then the slot is free for the next one. New accounts also start with 1,000 spare responses and a free AI analysis. The only things that cost anything are optional, including extra slots if you want several surveys running at once. How do people find my survey?
Two ways. They scan your Thoughtz Code — which you can print, display, email or wear wherever your customers already are — or you list the survey in the app’s Browse menu for a one-off $5, and people find it without needing a Code at all.
Is my feedback really anonymous?
The business that asked never learns who you are. What reaches them is the totals, with age and gender as a split across everyone who answered — never a name, never an email address, never a row with you on it. If you answer as a guest there is no account involved at all. If you are signed in, your answers stay linked to your account so that you can look back at them, and we record a marker for your device so the same phone cannot answer twice. Can I see who said what?
No, and that is the point — it is why the answers are worth reading. You see the totals, the age and gender split, and every written comment in full, but never which person wrote which. Results are not shown to anyone answering until at least three people have, so a single response can never be picked out.
